Troubleshooting Google Fit Connection
If you've completed Steps 1-6 but you're still seeing errors, check out the section See or remove connected apps in this link from Google Support https://support.google.com/fit/answer/6098255?sjid=17058248811372044965-NA
You should see Sworkit Fitness listed in Connected Apps.
To try again with the Sworkit Google Fit Connection, Disconnect per the directions in that link, and follow Steps 1-6 again.
If you use "Sign in with Google" to log into Sworkit, you won't have a choice to use a different Google Account to access Google Fit. For instance, if you receive Sworkit access through your employer and you signed in with Google using your work email, you won't be able to access steps collected on your personal device if Google Fit is signed into a different Google Account. Contact us and we'll convert your account to an email/password sign in so you can choose which Google Account to sync Fit data from.
We haven't tested syncing from Samsung but Google has its own app to link Samsung Health to Google Fit. This is our current recommendation if your device uses Samsung Health. Here's an in depth article https://www.androidpolice.com/sync-samsung-health-with-google-fit/
Tips & Tricks for syncing data:
Sworkit will only try to sync workouts from the past 30 days.
In many cases, Google Fit will automatically track walks for you. Sworkit will only import these automatically tracked walks to your log if they are more than 15 minutes.
The syncing toggle will only be available from the mobile version of our app, not the web version.
There you go! Now you can enjoy having your external activity logged for you. Additional connections are available for MyFitnessPal, Strava, and Apple Health (iOS). Still not syncing right? Check out this troubleshooting article.
