Have a Fitbit device? Fitbit is now part of Google, so Sworkit connects to your Fitbit data through Google Health â you'll see this option labeled "Google Health (Fitbit)" in the Sworkit app, not "Fitbit." Your Fitbit device and account still work exactly the same way; only the name has changed in our settings menu.
Connecting Google Health (Fitbit) lets you import steps and workouts from your Fitbit account and connected devices into your My Sworkit activity log, and send your Sworkit workouts back to Google Health. All your activity in one place.
How to Connect (Fitbit via Google Health)
Open the Sworkit app and tap the 3 menu lines in the top left corner
Tap Settings
Under Sync Your Steps & Workouts, tap Google Health (Fitbit)
Tap Connect with Google Health (Fitbit)
Sign in with your Fitbit account credentials when prompted
On the Google Health (Fitbit) screen, toggle ON whichever you'd like enabled: Send workouts to Google Health (Fitbit), Import workouts from Google Health (Fitbit), and/or Count Steps with Google Health (Fitbit)
Tap Start Manual Sync to sync right away, or tap the back arrow to return to Settings
Return to Home to see your steps and workout history
Want to unlink your accounts instead? On that same screen, tap Disconnect Google Health (Fitbit).
After completing a workout outside of Sworkit, open the Sworkit app to have it imported to your My Sworkit log.
Double-check the connection from the Google Health app
If you're not sure the accounts are actually linked, you can confirm it directly from the Google Health app (this is the same app formerly known as Google Fit):
Open the Google Health app and tap your profile icon in the top right.
Tap Apps and services.
On the Apps and services tab, look under Connected for Sworkit Health. If it's listed there, your accounts are linked and syncing.
Note: Sworkit's own settings still refer to this integration as "Google Health (Fitbit)," but on Google's side it will simply show up as Sworkit Health connected within the Google Health app.
Troubleshooting
Don't see "Fitbit" as an option in Sworkit settings?
Look for Google Health (Fitbit) instead â that's the current name for the Fitbit connection.
Steps or workouts not showing up in Sworkit?
Fitbit requires you to log in to the Fitbit app at least once a week to keep data syncing. Open Fitbit, then reopen Sworkit to trigger a sync.
Prefer to connect through a browser instead?
Go to app.sworkit.com â Sign In â Settings â Google Health (Fitbit) â Connect with Google Health (Fitbit).
Still not syncing?
Check out Syncing your health apps & devices to Sworkit for additional tips.
Other sync options: Apple Health, Health Connect (Android), MyFitnessPal, and Strava are also available under Settings â Sync Your Steps & Workouts.
