How do I sync Sworkit with my Fitbit (Google Health)?

How to sync your Fitbit account with Sworkit using the Google Health connection in the app.

Written by Victoria

Have a Fitbit device? Fitbit is now part of Google, so Sworkit connects to your Fitbit data through Google Health — you'll see this option labeled "Google Health" in the Sworkit app, not "Fitbit." Your Fitbit device and account still work exactly the same way; only the name has changed in our settings menu.

Connecting Google Health lets you import steps and workouts from your Fitbit account and connected devices into your My Sworkit activity log, and send your Sworkit workouts back to Fitbit. All your activity in one place.

How to Connect (Fitbit via Google Health)

  1. Open the Sworkit app and tap the 3 menu lines in the top left corner

  2. Tap Settings at the bottom of the menu

  3. Under Sync Your Steps & Workouts, tap Google Health

  4. Tap Connect with Google Health

  5. Sign in with your Fitbit account credentials when prompted

  6. When linked, tap Return to Settings

  7. Tap Done in the upper left corner

  8. Toggle ON the options you want to share between apps, then tap Start Manual Sync

  9. Tap back to Home to see your workout history

After completing a workout outside of Sworkit, open the Sworkit app to have it imported to your My Sworkit log.

Troubleshooting

Don't see "Fitbit" as an option in Sworkit settings?
Look for Google Health instead — that's the current name for the Fitbit connection.

Steps or workouts not showing up in Sworkit?
Fitbit requires you to log in to the Fitbit app at least once a week to keep data syncing. Open Fitbit, then reopen Sworkit to trigger a sync.

Prefer to connect through a browser instead?
Go to app.sworkit.com → Sign In → Settings → Google Health → Connect with Google Health.

Other sync options: Apple Health, Health Connect (Android), MyFitnessPal, and Strava are also available under Settings → Sync Your Steps & Workouts.
