Q: What is a Team Challenge in Sworkit?
A: A Team Challenge is a fitness competition within your organization where members can join or create teams, compete towards shared fitness goals, and track progress collectively.
Q: How do I join a Team Challenge?
A: You can join a Team Challenge if your organization's admin has created one. Look for the active challenges on your Sworkit app home screen or follow a shared challenge link to join.
Q: Can I create my own team within a Team Challenge?
A: Possibly, this depends on what your organization’s admin chose when creating the challenge. If yes, you will see the option to create a team name after you join the challenge.
Q: How do I join an existing team?
A: You can join another member's already established team by clicking the team’s shared link or by searching for the team within the challenge and requesting to join.
Q: Who can create a Team Challenge?
A: Only admins from your organization can create and publish Team Challenges through the Admin Portal, but members can freely join and create teams within those challenges.
Q: Can I share my team with others to recruit members?
A: Yes, teams have shareable links that you can distribute to invite others from your organization to join your team.
Q: What kind of goals are set in Team Challenges?
A: Admins set the challenge goals, which could include total activity minutes or other fitness metrics that each member or the entire team needs to meet.
Q: Is there a leaderboard or ranking during the challenge?
A: Team rankings and real-time stats are typically shown, allowing members to see their team’s standing compared to others in the challenge.
Q: Can I edit my team name after the challenge starts?
A: No, team names cannot be changed. This helps maintain consistency and clear identification throughout the competition. However, you may create a new team at any time.
Q: Can I leave a challenge or switch teams after it has started?
A: Yes, you may leave a challenge at any time and either join an existing team or create a new team even after the challenge has begun. This allows for flexibility in participation throughout the event.
Q: Can I participate in multiple team challenges?
A: You can join multiple different team challenges with your organization or app, but only join ONE team per challenge.
Q: Is there a limit to how many people can be on my team?
A: There may be. This depends on what your organization’s admin chose when creating the challenge. You will see a team cap or team max if there is a limit, and if not, you may have as many people on your team as you’d like.
Q: What if I accidentally joined the wrong team or want to create a new one during a challenge?
A: No problem! Just tap the three dots in the upper right corner of the challenge screen and select Add/Edit Teams. From there, you can either join a different existing team or create a new one with your preferred name. After creating a new team, you can share the link with others — or your teammates can tap the same three dots and use the Join Team option to find and join it.
Q: What if I have technical issues joining or tracking my team challenge?
A: You can consult Sworkit's help center or FAQ section dedicated to challenges and syncing activity from devices to resolve common problems.
