Hi there! đ Sworkit Move is our new set of guided programs for back, neck, joint, and pelvic health. Each program is called a pathway, and every one was designed and reviewed by Doctors of Physical Therapy. They're made for everyday aches and early discomfort, and for keeping those aches from coming back.
Where do I find it?
Open Sworkit and go to your Home tab. If your organization includes Sworkit Move, you'll see it right at the top.
How do I get started?
First, you'll see a quick intro and a short safety note. Then you can take a short assessment about where you're feeling discomfort, how long it's been going on, and what makes it worse. We'll recommend the pathway that fits you best. Already know what you need? You can also browse all 16 pathways and pick one yourself.
If anything in your answers tells us you should check with a healthcare provider first, we'll let you know before you start.
What does a pathway look like?
Each pathway is 6 weeks, split into three phases. You'll start gently, then build stability, then build strength so you can keep it going on your own. đȘ
Every day has two short sessions, about 5 to 7 minutes each:
Daily Movement to get you going
Evening Recovery to help you wind down
Do one or both. Go at your own pace! If you miss a few days, no problem. Just pick up where you left off. Your progress is always saved.
How do I track my progress?
After each session, you'll answer two quick questions about how the area feels and how hard the session was. You'll also get a few short check-ins along the way so you can see how far you've come.
What happens when I finish?
Once you finish your 6 weeks, you can repeat your pathway, retake the assessment, or keep going with the rest of Sworkit. You can also switch pathways anytime. You'll just work on one at a time.
Is this physical therapy?
No. Sworkit Move doesn't diagnose anything, and it's not a replacement for physical therapy or medical care. If your pain is severe, getting worse, or came from a recent injury, please check with your healthcare provider first. Our article on when to check with a healthcare provider has more details.
